Catholic Living Topics

Catholicism is much more than what we do for an hour on Sunday. Our Catholic faith should permeate our everyday life. Understanding and applying that can be a challenge. Presentations centered on Catholic living can help us live lives that reflect our Catholic faith.

Living a Catholic and Moral Life

Being Catholic in the 21st Century can seem daunting at times. Far too many issues are being overlooked and far too many issues are having a terrible effect on Catholics. Topics such as abortion, woman's choice, transgenderism, vasectomy, recreational drug use, pornography, friends with benefits, and so forth. Understanding how these and many other moral issues today do not, in fact, liberate us. Rather, they chain us down and we condemn ourselves for all eternity.

Catholic Families & Living the Catholic Faith

Similar to Living a Catholic and Moral Life, this presentation applies 21st Century issues affecting parents trying to help their children grow in faith. How do we as parents handle various situations that our children encounter? How do we live the faith, especially when we are asked to participate in events that go directly against the teaching of the Church? Let's talk about how Catholic families can live the faith in modern society!

Understanding Mary and Our Salvation

The most important and most misunderstood woman in our salvation history, Mary the mother of Jesus. Why should we have a devotion to Mary? Through this presentation we will discover how we don't adore Mary but we honor her. Gain a better understanding that through her intercessions we come closer to her Son, our Lord. It's understood throughout history, if you want to know and love Jesus, you first have to know and love His mother. Through Mary to Jesus!

Catholic Education & Society

Every Catholic school and university is an academic community which should create and stimulate rigorous and critical though of and for their students. They should assist in the protection and advancement of human dignity. Our Catholic education institutions, from elementary to university, possess the autonomy necessary to perform their functions effectively and guarantees students and instructors academic freedom. These institutions preserve the rights of the individual person and community within the truth of Jesus Christ and the common good of man. Unfortunately, many 21st Century Catholic, educational institutions no longer believe or encourage this. It is vitally critical that parents, as first educators of their children, consistently teach the truth of Jesus Christ and the common good of all men.
